Final

Over the semester we've done various parts of the body, though we did not get to all of them. As usuall it has always been my favorite to draw hands and skulls and it was nice for once to draw a foot or two. Nothing can really be said here that wasn't said at midterm. Have I learned anything this semester, probably. I don't really know it yet but I probably benefited from this class. One probalem I've always had was drawing things as a whole. How the hand connects to the arm, how the arm connects to the shoulder ect ect. Seeing how the relationship between muscles works really hwlped me understand how that sort of thing works. I dosen't feel like much, but most of my lerning experence is figureing things out in small incraments over time. I'd have to say I can draw much faster than before, as well as clearer. I can say that this was a productive semester.

Skullcrusher Mountain

Aside from hands, Skulls were the second most things I drew in high school. I understand how all the sections and bits of the skull are arranged on the skull more so now than before. I want to draw more skulls, I will invest in a drawing skull, than I will put hats on it, take photographs, and use them as my Face book profile picture. Flawless plan
There's allot of shape to draw in the skull. The lines speak for themselves basically. Aside from learning to draw the face, I think that the human skull an teach people how to use line to make shape very well. On my own time I might do a contour line drawing of the skull.

FEET

Here's my contour line drawing of the foot. I always have the tendency to draw all of my lines going in the same direction, so that flow creates the shape of the object. it's too hard and I hate doing it, so I'm gonna draw lines wherever from now on. It hurts my brain.
I like drawing feet. This is an experience for me because I spend most my life drawing hands. Feet are the weird cousins of hands. It's great to finally draw feet. The one on the left is probably the best of the bunch.

Toes are weird, unlike fingers they mash together in a line. There's overlapping parts of toes that are hard figure out, but that's mostly because I stand too far away to see the toes.

Things

Here's one long drawing.

Behold it in all of it's drawnivity (that's draw and divinity combined).

Midterm

So what have I learned from all of this. Well for one I figured out how to proportion up the ribcage and the pelvis. I also learned how the spine is shaped. Though the more valuable thing I’m taking away is the rib cage. It’s an integral part of drawing the body, seeing as how it takes up what is essentially the entire torso. Other than that I feel although I’m in the same place I was at when I began the semester. If I have any improvement, it’s only because the class has naturally developed a direction that I recognize and follow.

My manikin has cause several aneurisms and holes punched through walls. It started easy enough, but than that thigh had to happen. Generally it would be a good thing to see something that has an intricate system of muscles in whole, or at least in partly whole. Having to do individual muscles and assuming what goes where, what overlaps what winds up turning into a goulash of spaghetti strands and allot of socially unacceptable words shouted. Only an anatomy book held the key to bosses dungeon here. I Feel as though I might be learning something from this, but than again maybe not. Since I’m only assuming what some of these muscles are, I’m not too sure what their function could be.

I don’t know what I want to learn by the end of the semester. I guess the only thing is having the know how to free hand a human body. That would be pretty boss. It would make doing cartoons and animation easier. And because it’s two or three things I have to put down, I guess I’d better come up with one more thingy. I suppose getting the shape of the human hand down. I swear the hand is so irritating to draw. I draw hands so much and I still can’t get a good freehanded hand done. I would really like to learn how to do that.

Hurrrr

Normally I have a good understanding of what I am suppose to put on the skeleton. But the instructions in the book this time were skipping off my head. I could only assume where some of the muscles went, and assume that some were part of the same. Also the fact that the guy uses a totally different model than I, it sent me on the rocket buss to the land of anger and punching.

Here's some stuff I did last week

The one sketch says to the other sketch "guess what?" and the other sketch says "what?" and the one sketch says "Chicken Butt" and the other sketch says "screw you."

I ate at a chili's this weekend. I ate a burger that was greater than my manhood, as seen in this expression (My Manhood) < (The Bacon Southwest Smokehouse Burger). After having eaten it i felt as though my face had been beaten with an aluminum baseball bat. But I found out it was just the itis setting it.
